My tablet fever is heating up again. I tested the original Compaq TC1100 tablet way back in 2004-5, and after testing it for some time decided that as cool as it was, it couldn't perform it's tablet duties to it's fullest running WindowsXP. It was caught between a laptop and a bad writing device and it ran windows with a hacky version of hand writing recognition. It's 2010 and I've already owned an iPhone for two years now and I have been impressed with the cell-phone-plus features of the iPhone and Apple's app store. Now I want to be able to do the sa
me things with my iPhone on a larger more powerful device and I must admit I am stuck between features like multi-tasking and video editing. My previous bad experience with tablet PCs and the not quite all there features of an iPad left me wanting. Is the Google Chrome OS tablet the answer? I will have an ongoing update on my blog about my Chrome vs Android vs iPad debat and hopefully conclude with what Abinyah bought.
Just doing some web surfing and found these articles. I will have to do more digging around to get to the deal breaker.
