With Google Buzz, you can go beyond status messages and share photos, videos, conversation and more to make the internet a more interesting place. Google Buzz does not require additional setup and follows people you email automatically. It integrates directly with you gmail inbox and allows you to share publicly or privately to the world or just your closest friends. Allowing you to see updates in real time it recommands interesting posts while weeding out ones you are most likely to skip. Connect to sites like Twitter, Picasa and Flickr to import your information from those sites, including Google Reader.
Buzz is also available for the iPhone at buzz.google.com with seamless integration with Google Mobile App and the Android 2.0+. Integration for other common smart phones like BlackBerry and Windows Mobile is still in the works.
Buzz start out as a new link under your Gmail Inbox. Before you can use Buzz, you need to setup your public profile. You can publish posts and email the URL to your email contacts. Connect to other sites with a simply click and watch new posts appear in your Buzz. Using the iPhone Buzz, you can see what people are saying in your area using location services.
This is going to be a very interesting application service for Google and so far is leveraging existing google applications to make immediate head-roads into the social media arena.
